Independent Research Program Information

So, you’re a retail owner or manager and you want to participate in our research program?  Sweet!

Here’s how it works.

1. Tell us about your store – The first step in this process is to briefly tell us a bit about your retail stores.  The name, location, type of products you sell…you know, that kind of thing.  This will help us add your store into the existing online survey and will allow your shoppers to give feedback specific to your store.  This gets you “signed up.”

2. Survey card – Download our survey card and print as many as you want.  The more you hand out to your shoppers, the more people who will give you feedback.  The card sends your shoppers to our website (www.voxcapio.com/independent) and informs them of their chance to win $300 in our monthly drawing.  People (and pet owners in particular) love telling a bit about themselves, especially when they can win some cash.  And don’t worry, we foot that bill.

3. Shopper survey – Like we mentioned above, the survey card you hand out will send your shoppers to our website to take a short online survey where they can give feedback specific to their experience in your store.  At the end of the survey, they have the option to sign up for the monthly drawing.  Simple as that!  No gimmicks.  No tricks.  Of course, all  personal information is kept completely confidential.

4. Results – You’ve done the work, now reap the rewards.  At any time after you’ve started handing out survey cards, you can request results for your store and we’ll send you a link to access your data.  Think of it as your instant portal to the minds of your shoppers where they tell you about their experiences in your store as well as other valuable category and channel information (in other words, insight to growing your business and beating the Big Boxes).  Check your results often to see how your in-store changes have impacted your shoppers’ experiences.

Is it free? – Yes.

Why do it? – Why not?  It’s free.  You get valuable information about your store.  You get to have a say in what questions your shoppers are asked in the survey.  Plus, it’s kinda fun!

What does Vox Capio get out of this? – We get to hear from independent pet store shoppers…something we’ve struggled to do in the past.  Also, some of the people who take this survey will take the opportunity to join our community of pet owners who enjoy receiving occasional online surveys or socializing with us on Facebook.  So what do we get?  Information to help us do a better job of building and selling pet products.
